Transition Study

What is a Transition Study?

The goal of a transition study is to ensure there is a smooth transfer from builder to association in accordance with the needs of both parties.

A transition study is an evaluation and study of the condition of the property at the time the Association takes possession of the community from the developer. A written report of the deficiencies is provided with this study. 


When the common area components have been transitioned for a newly formed Community Association to manage, BUSTAMANTE ENGINEERS has the experience and expertise to assist in answering the following questions:

  • Is the builder providing what is actually required?
  • What is the condition of those amenities?
