ABOUT BUSTAMANTE ENGINEERS

As president and founder of Bustamante Engineers, Inc. Greg has over 40 years of engineering expertise. He oversees all projects for the firm. He has inspected thousands of buildings from 80,000 square foot commercial buildings to older homes and community associations with 30 - 1000 units. He enjoys working with clients to provide engineering solutions to forensic or structural issues. With a strong focus for Community Associations he is an expert in reviewing properties for reserve fund studies, transition studies, structural and specification projects. As a CAI Reserve Specialist, Greg offers communities suggestions on how to extend the common area components life expectancy.

Greg gained his Science/Civil Engineering degree from Farleigh Dickinson University in 1983. He began his career in New York and opened his business in Bucks County in 1993. Greg has extensive background in civil and structural engineering. Greg resides in Bucks County with his family. He enjoys the outdoors by biking, hiking, travel and photography. He is a great leader for the company bringing a "Carpe Diem" approach to each day.

Jennifer is an EIT with over a decade worth of experience in civil and site design.  Jennifer's area of expertise includes all facets of community association work.  This encompasses preparing reserve studies, transition studies, specification writing and construction oversight, including managing projects from design into the bid phase and through close-out.  Jennifer works diligently to maintain open lines of communication between the property managers, association, and the contractors during all phases, to ensure a positive outcome on construction projects.  After being with Bustamante Engineers for five years, Ms. Keggan has earned the position of Manager of Reserve Studies.  Other responsibilities include marketing efforts with CAI.

Joseph is a Professional Engineer with over 8 years of structural design experience. Joseph serves as the lead project manager for most of our civil and structural projects. He is a graduate of Lehigh University where he earned an M.S. and a B.S. in Structural Engineering. His experience includes new construction and rehabilitation of wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures. His primary role is providing structural design, detailing, and construction services for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Joseph also manages civil engineering projects such as minor land development and stormwater designs.

Sue is our Office Administrator who brings an extensive knowledge of office management and customer service to our business. She is the person people speak with on the phone and she handles most, if not all, of the administrative duties in the office. We are fortunate to have her. Sue is the mother of two adult children who are pursuing their own careers. She is a huge Eagles fan and enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking.

Justin is an E.I.T. who graduated from Temple University where he earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering. Since joining Bustamante Engineers, he has been working on stormwater management design and retaining wall projects. Justin grew up in Bucks County.

Matt is an E.I.T.  who received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Penn State University. He has four years of experience in Civil Engineering including two years as an engineering consultant for PennDOT and the Pennsylvania Turnpike working in construction management on Highway/Bridge projects and has two years of experience with Bustamante Engineers, Inc. working on pavement, stormwater management, balcony restoration, and building envelope projects.

Marylu graduated from Albert Einstein University in Antiguo Cuscatlan, El Salvador and has more that 15 years of experience as an architect in her country.  She moved to the United States in 2017.  Marylu provides CAD design, drafting, detailing, and renderings for our residential and commercial clients.  In her spare time, Marylu loves cooking, baking, gardening, music, travel, handicrafts, art, mountains, and outdoor activities.

An engineer for over 40 years, Bob has brought his expertise in both residential and commercial engineering. He performs property condition assessments, forensic inspections, home inspections, community association work and electric engineering projects. His expertise, coupled with a personable approach, has made him a valuable part of the team. Bob and his wife have a daughter and reside in New Jersey.

Rob has over 40 years of professional engineering, planning, and public administration experience with municipal, authority, county, state, and public utility agencies on a wide variety of public works projects throughout the greater Philadelphia region.  He performs transition and reserve studies for community associations and forensic inspections for property loss incidents.  Rob graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with  both an A.S and B.S. in engineering.  He enjoys music, travel, and backpacking.  Rob and his wife have two daughters and have been residents of Chester County for over 25 years.

Shelly has worked for Bustamante Engineers Inc for over 20 years and oversees bookkeeping and banking. Shelly and her family are from Bucks County, PA.

Mr. Dufault has over 45 years of experience with large international engineering and construction companies, including planning, designing, constructing, and managing large industrial facilities. His technical experience includes activities in structural steel and concrete design, structural dynamics, geotechnical investigations and foundation engineering, civil engineering & stormwater management, and drainage hydraulics. His work has given him a broad view of the engineering and construction professions. Most recently for BEI, Mr. Dufault has been involved with both residential and commercial property inspections, capital improvement projects for community schools and commercial property owners, structural evaluations and design, and residential site development for stormwater management.

Nick received his bachelor's degree from Penn State University. He has five years experience in Structural Engineering. Nick's main focus is working in residential and commercial design with a focus in renovations, building design, new construction, and additions. 

Denny is an E.I.T. who received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University. He has five years experience in construction management. Denny is instrumental in working on Reserve and Transition Studies for our many communities we serve.
